Are Wheavers going to be broken up?

According to HITC Sport (I know, I know), Bolton Wanderers centre back Mark Beevers is wanted by former club Millwall.

The article states:

“Millwall have made an approach to bring Bolton Wanderers defender Mark Beevers back to the club, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Beevers spent four seasons at Millwall before joining Bolton last summer on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old was a big fans' favourite during his time at Millwall, scoring eight goals in 151 appearances for the Lions.

Millwall boss Neil Harris is keen to lure Beevers back to the Den as he looks to bring in experienced performers as he prepares for life back in the Championship next season.”

After joining on a free transfer last season, Mark Beevers became integral to Wanderers’ side. The Magic centre back scored seven times in 51 games last season as part of League One’s best defence.

Let’s hope these are nothing more than rumours. In the position the club is in, we can’t afford to be letting our best players leave.
