Bolton Wanderers have just confirmed the loan signing of Everton defender, Antonee Robinson until January.

The 19 year old left back has played 27 times for Everton’s U23 side, and this loan move will be his first taste of league football.

Robinson will obviously act as competition to Andrew Taylor.

Robinson actually played against Wanderers last season in the Checkatrade Trophy, playing the full 90 minutes as Everton’s U23 side beat Bolton 2-0 at The Macron.

Antonee Robinson has also been capped at U18 level with the USA.

Upon his move to The Macron, Robinson told Wanderers’ official site:

‘‘As soon as I heard about the opportunity to come to Bolton Wanderers I was buzzing. The chance to pay at such a high profile club is one that I’m relishing. It’s my first loan move so it will be a big step up but it’s a challenge I am ready for’’

Phil Parkinson added:

“We have been looking for a left back for a while. We like the look of Antonee, he is a good defender. He has great athleticism, he’s young, hungry and was keen to join us. He is a good addition to the squad.”
