It was a tale of terrible defending from both teams as it ends 3-2 to Leeds United. In the first half it was Bolton Wanderers’ turn to defend horribly.
An easy goal from a corner. Mark Howard maybe could have saved it? Whoever maybe could have closed it down? 1-0 Leeds either way.
Then comes Dorian Dervites time to shine. I say shine. Chasing the ball and ignoring Chris Wood. it becomes 2-0.
Leeds then did not cover themselves in glory as Gary Madine over powered two defenders to pull it back to 2-1.
Leeds did not take long to make it 3-1. The wing backs played two onside. The Leeds player had the time to fall over and get back up. He then player it square around the onrushing Mark Howard and it was tapped in.
Joke defending and it looked like keeping Leeds below 6 would be an achievement.
In the second half Bolton managed to defend. Leeds did not look like scoring anymore, but they did continue the terrible defending. Madine had his short pulled over his head leaving his bra on full show. Penalty Bolton whih Adam Le Fondre smashed home.
Bolton tried to find another, but they did not have the cutting edge. It would end 3-2 but at least they showed fight in the second half.
We have to hope they learn from the first half defensive catastrphy, and push on as a more compact unit. There is some hope, but it could still be a long season.
