On deadline day, Bolton Wanderers completed the signing of Cardiff City winger Craig Noone on a two year deal. It's also been confirmed that Crystal Palace turned down an offer from Wanderers to loan Chungy, as there wasn't any cover for the player should he leave.
Reports in France also state that a move for Arsenal midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide fell through last night.
According to Loic Tanzi from RMC Sport, Reine-Adelaide was all set to join Bolton on loan, but will now remain at the Emirates in the hopes of getting a chance in the first team.
Jeff Rene-Adelaide va rester à Arsenal et tenter de convaincre Wenger. Bolton a tenté un prêt jusqu'au bout #Rmcsport— Loïc Tanzi (@Tanziloic) August 31, 2017
The tweet is vague on why the move fell through. Did Bolton not have enough time? Is the squad now full? Or are they concentrating on a more defensive minded midfielder. Maybe a familiar one with a scouse accent.
