According to The Daily Star, Bolton Wanderers, Hull City and Crystal Palace are all interested in former Chelsea and West Ham United striker, Carlton Cole.
The article in The Star states:
"The 33-year-old is a free agent having returned from an abortive spell in Indonesia. Championship sides Bolton and Hull are also understood to be interested in signing the former Chelsea and West Ham hitman, who was capped seven times by England.
Cole went to Indonesia to try his luck with top-flight club Persib Bandung, but struggled to make an impact after falling out with their coach Umuh Muchtar. A pal of Cole's claimed Muchtar had failed to give him a proper chance because he was unhappy at the club's president signing the ex-Celtic player without consultation."
Now 33, could Carlton Cole make an impact at The Macron? Who knows. The striker had his most prolific spell with West Ham, scoring 68 goals in 293 games.
