Having seen a move for fan favourite Chungy derailed on deadline day, Wanderers turned their attention towards another former player.
Bolton Wanderers have just announced that former forward Zach Clough has rejoined the club. Clough has joined on loan from Nottingham Forest until the end of the season.

Clough left Wanderers last January deadline day to join Forest for a fee of around £3 million, having scored 22 times in 68 games for Bolton. In a year, Zach Clough scored four times for Forest in 31 games.
Wanderers have also announced the signing of Liverpool full back Jon Flanagan on loan. The 25 year old, who can play at left back or right back, will be available for Wanderers’ game against Bristol City on Wedneday.
So that’s Wanderers’ transfer business done. In come Harry Charsley, Tyler Walker, Jon Flanagan and Zach Clough, with Reece Burke and Antonee Robinson extending their loan deals until the end of the season.
Out go Josh Cullen, Adam Armstrong and Gary Madine.
