The article from The Sun states:
“BOLTON are demanding £4million for kid keeper Jake Turner — to the surprise of Everton and Manchester United.
Trotters boss Phil Parkinson has yet to start Turner, 18, but the England youth cap is wanted by both the Toffees and Reds Devils to develop for the future.
However, financially-strapped Bolton’s huge demands have put off both of his Premier League suitors.”
It would be some blow to Wanderers if Jake Turner were to leave. The young goalkeeper is seen as perhaps the clubs best youth prospect, having already played for England’s U18 and U19 sides.
Whether this figure is true or not remains to be seen.
Nixon also reported in The Sun a few weeks ago that Wanderers were looking for a figure of around £3.5 million for Josh Vela.
Jake Turner has been on the bench for Wanderers six times this season, but due to the form of Ben Alnwick, he has yet to make his debut.
Last month, Turner was sent on loan to non-league side Stalybridge Celtic, but failed to make an appearance because of adverse weather conditions.
