Bolton Wanderers’ pocket rocket Erhun Oztumer seems to be making great strides with adapting to a higher level of football.
There is no doubt that he has more attacking talent in his little toe than a lot Bolton’s squad. His range of passing and eye for a shot have already been well illistrated.
What was maybe less expected of 5 ft 3 Oztumer is his willingness and effectiveness when putting himself about. The Turkish Messi is showing that not only can he aid Bolton’s cause going forward but that he can also prove an irritant for opposition players, a trait which is always popular among the Bolton faithful.

If Oztumer can keep up the good work, and hopefully continue to adapt to the Championship, then it is hard to see anyone dislodging him from the first team. This is great news for Bolton who desperatly need someone in the midfield who can take the ball on a pick a pass.
On the day he got the assist for Bolton’s equaliser with a well place cross which evaded everyone apart from Josh Magennis. What is more he linked up well with those around him, something which is certainly most welcome.
