The Sky Sports cameras are in town this evening as Lancashire rivals Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers go head to head for the 171st time.
Bolton have only lost one of their last five games against Rovers, and only two of the last ten clashes. But don’t expect too many goals. The two sides haven’t played each other since 2015, and in that campaign Bolton won the home game 1-0 and drew 0-0 at Ewood Park, while the previous game was a 1-0 defeat at Blackburn.
Phil Parkinson makes one change from the side that lost at Stoke City in mid-week, with David Wheater coming in for Marc Wilson at the back. There’s also a first place in the match-day squad for Lloyd Dyer, for some reason.
Blackburn have made four changes and look to be playing a 4-3-3, with Danny Graham leading the line supported by Bradley Dack and Chelsea loanee Kasey Palmer, while former England international Jack Rodwell starts in midfield. Former Bolton loanee Adam Armstrong is named on the bench, alongside big money signing Ben Brereton.
Here are this evening’s starting line-ups. Follow all the action from the UniBol in the Comments section below.
