As Reported by The Irish Sun, Bohemians winger Daniel Kelly is set to sign for Bolton Wanderers after playing for the U23s against Hull City on Monday night.

The article from The Irish Sun states:

“Kelly, 22, won a host of admirers after starring for Bohemians following a summer switch from troubled Bray Wanderers. Doncaster Rovers, Dundalk, Cork City and Shamrock Rovers were all keen on the pacy winger, who scored seven times in 33 top-flight appearances.

But Bolton were always favourites to land his signature and he lined out alongside Stephen Ireland for their development side against Hull City. The Ringsend native had never played senior football until this year, having had stints with St Patrick’s CY either side of a short spell with Crumlin United.”

Having been previously linked with a move in October, Kelly scored seven times in 33 games in the LOI last season. The youngsters has had a meteoric rise in the last year, so let’s hope he can be a real prospect for Wanderers.
