According to reports from the Irish Independent, former Bohemians winger Daniel Kelly wants assurances from Bolton before he joins the club.

The report from The Independent states:

“Former Bohemians man Daniel Kelly will seek assurances from Championship side Bolton Wanderers over their dire financial status before any move to the club. Kelly, who made an impact with Bohs last term after a mid-season move from Bray Wanderers, is on trial with Bolton and played for their U23 side against Hull on Monday night.

Bolton remain keen on the wide player, but the club has been struggling financially, with players and staff going unpaid, so Kelly will want promises on his contract if any deal is done.”

Having been previously linked with a move in October, Kelly scored seven times in 33 games in the LOI last season. The youngsters has had a meteoric rise in the last year, so let’s hope he can be a real prospect for Wanderers.

Hopefully, finances don’t scupper the deal.
