It’s not easy being green, and it’s also not easy being a Bolton Wanderers fan at the moment. Despite a spirited comeback against Norwich last week to level when two behind, Wanderers still walked away from Carrow Road with nothing after conceding a last gasp, heartbreaking goal.
With just one win in seventeen & winless in eleven games, Wanderers take on Marco Bielsa’s Leeds United at the UNIBOL.
Bolton’s recent record against Leeds isn’t great to say the least. They’ve lost the last five in all competitions, whilst having only won once against them at home in the last fourteen games. Strangely, Leeds have had a different manager for their last ten visits to Bolton.
Should Leeds win today, it’ll be the first time they’ve won five consecutive league games for nearly a decade.
It’s time to play the music, It’s time to light the lights.
Team News
Sammy Ameobi is suspended following his sending off last week at Norwich.
Meanwhile for Leeds, Patrick Bamford & Izzy Brown are back in contention.
Odds
Bolton 9/2
Draw 14/5
Leeds 8/13
Match Prediction
I can only see a Leeds victory. 1-2. Would love to be proven wrong.
Also, best of luck to Dave Cope, who begins his charity walk from the UNIBOL to Brentford's Griffin Park after the game.
