According to The Birmingham Mail, Bolton Wanderers are interested in former Everton, West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland striker, Victor Anichebe.
The article from the Birmingham Mail states:
“Former West Brom striker Victor Anichebe is attracting interest from Championship outfit Bolton Wanderers. The former Albion forward is out of contract having had a short stint at Beijing Enterprises in the Chinese Super League, but is now available on a free transfer.”
The 29 year old, who has played eleven times for Nigeria, could be a decent option for Wanderers to pursue.
His goal record isn’t the best, with 42 in 266 career appearances. But his hold up play would offer Bolton a different kind of option up front.
Of course, this is all hearsay, so don’t believe anything until a player is holding a Wanderers shirt on the official site.
