Bolton Wanderers were expecting to face a very recently departed old boy, but big news this evening as Gary Madine misses out through ‘injury’ and is unable to make his home debut for Cardiff City.

Phil Parkinson makes two changes from the side that drew with Fulham at the weekend, with the big news that Adam Le Fondre earns his place in the starting line-up following his wondergoal. There’s two changes in the five man defence, with Reece Burke replacing David Wheater and Filipe Morais coming in at wing-back for Mark Little. Both, I suspect, being down to tiredness as both players drop to the bench.

As mentioned Madine is missing with a ‘broken nose’ and is replaced by Kenneth Zohore, who’ll have Jamie Ward for company up front. Liverpool loanee Marko Grujic starts in midfield, while there’s goal threat from Joe Ralls, Callum Patterson and Junior Hoilett. They do have one Bolton old boy amongst their ranks, with Liam Feeney named on the bench.

Here are tonight’s starting lineups. You can follow all the action from Cardiff in the Comments section below.
