Bolton Wanderers’ U23 side played Watford Fc last night, with Connor Hall scoring a late equaliser to rescue a point for David Lee’s side. It was Hall’s 20th goal of the season, a fantastic achievement in a talented young side.
With just four games to go in the professional development league, Wanderers sit top of the table, two points clear of second place Sheffield Wednesday.
Last night’s Wanderers side featured a few new faces.
Three trialists featured for Bolton. Arsenal full back Chiori Johnson, Everton full back Nathan Moore and Wolverhampton Wanderers striker, Jordan Allan.

Johnson and Allan both started, and Moore was brought on to replace Johnson in the second half.
So who are Johnson, Moore and Allan?
Twenty year old Chiori Johnson has been with Arsenal since he was 8, signing a professional contract back in 2015. Described as an energetic full back, Johnson hasn’t played for Arsenal U23’s this season, but played 16 times last season. Johnson has also been on trial with local rivals, Blackburn Rovers.
Eighteen year old left back Nathan Moore has been a regular for Everton’s U18 side this season, playing eighteen times, two of which he was captain.
Nineteen year old striker Jordan Allan started his career in Scotland with Airdrieonians FC, before moving to Wolves in 2014. Allan returned to Airdrieonians on loan this season, making nine appearances.
It remains to be seen whether the three players will be offered full time contracts by Wanderers.
