Transfer Gossip: Bolton Wanderers interested in Walsall midfielder

According to HITC sport, Bolton Wanderers are one of four clubs interested in Walsall midfielder, Erhun Oztumer.

The article states:

“Blackburn Rovers, Preston North End, Bolton Wanderers and Bradford City are chasing Walsall midfielder Erhun Oztumer on a free transfer. Oztumer is out of contract at Walsall next month and he has informed the club he will not be signing a new deal at Banks’s Stadium enabling him to leave on a free transfer.

The news has alerted a number of clubs to his availability with his suitors ready to pounce for his signature.”

Dubbed as the Turkish Messi, Oztumer has been one of Walsall’s best player in recent times. The playmaker was in the PFA League One team of the year.

If Wanderers need to continue looking for free agents, then you probably won’t find a better player than Oztumer. I’m sure he will be able to cope with the step up into The Championship.
