Fresh rumours of another takeover

According to a little snippet in The Sun from journalist Alan Nixon, Bolton Wanderers are attracting interest from Middle Eastern investors.

The snippet from The Sun stated:

“Owner Ken Anderson may finally sell Bolton if they stay up today. Sources say a mystery Middle East party could pay close to his £25 million valuation.”

How true this is, I don’t know. Given how big today is, it seems strange that a story like this would be reported.

Ken Anderson said towards the end of last year that club was off the market, having received offers from tyre kickers.

Everyone knows that if Bolton Wanderers want to compete, they need fresh investment.

What do you think? Do you think this rumoured Middle Eastern party would have the money to take Bolton forward? Let us know in the comments box below.

PS: Come on Wanderers, let's beat Forest and give ourselves a chance of staying up!
