As revealed this morning by Marc Iles of The Bolton News, Bolton Wanderers are set to announce the signing of Walsall playmaker, Erhun Oztumer.
Sky sports added further to the story, stating:
“Sky sources understand Oztumer will undergo a medical on Tuesday and sign a two-year deal with an option of a further year. Preston and Sunderland are also understood to have previously shown an interest in Oztumer.”
Dubbed as the Turkish Messi, Oztumer has been one of Walsall’s best players in recent times. The playmaker was in the PFA League One team of the year.
Oztumer spent two years at Walsall, scoring an impressive 32 goals.
Despite the 27 year old being the shortest player in the EFL, I’m sure he will be able to cope with the step up into The Championship.
