The 26 year-old has signed for Wanderers on a season-long loan after fending off competition from former employers of Wildschut and local rivals, Wigan Athletic, making the deal even sweeter for the Whites.
The Dutch star, most prominently remembered for being a part of Norwich’s squad over recent years having signed for the East Anglian side for a fee in the region of £7m.
Wildschut arrives as a great addition to our midfield department and has certainly bolstered our squad going forward both in an attacking sense and as a sign of things to come.
The move hopefully also promises to set the wheels in motion for some more signings in the near future.
Everyone at The Lion of Vienna Suite wishes Yanic the best at Wanderers this season and hopes that the move will prove to be a successful one for all parties.
Welcome to Bolton Wanderers, Yanic!
