Transfer Gossip: Bolton Wanderers given permission to speak to Everton left back

This morning, Marc Iles of The Bolton News reported that Bolton Wanderers have made a loan bid to re-sign Everton left back, Antonee Robinson.

Now, Simon Jones of the Daily Mail has reported further details, stating:

“Everton have given Bolton Wanderers permission to discuss a potential loan with left-back Antonee Robinson.

However, Robinson is in the final year of his contract and Everton will need to tie him down to extended terms before allowing him out.

The 20-year-old spent last season at the Macron Stadium and his performances earned him a call up to the USA squad at the end of the campaign.”

Everton have almost completed the signing of Barcelona and France left back, Lucas Digne, so will allow Robinson to leave on loan.

So as soon as Jedi ties up a new contract at Goodison Park, it looks like he’s coming back to The Macron on loan. Great news.
