According to HITC Sport, Bolton Wanderers are interested in former Lyon and Malaga defender, Bakary Kone.
The article from HITC states:
“Bolton Wanderers have made an offer for Malaga defender Bakary Kone, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club. Kone is available on a free transfer following Malaga’s relegation from La Liga last season.
Bolton have been made aware of Kone’s availability and they have tabled an offer to bring the player to England.”
30 year old Burkina Faso international Bakary Kone has spent the majority of his career playing in France and Spain.
Capped 76 times for his country, Kone spent last season on loan at Ligue 1 side, RC Strasbourg. The defender scored once in 33 games.
If reports are to be believed, Wanderers are keen to bring the towering centre back to England for the first time in his career.
