According to ITV Anglia journalist Jack Reeve, Bolton Wanderers are closing in on the signing of Norwich City goalkeeper, Remi Matthews.
EXCLUSIVE: I understand that #NCFC goalkeeper Remi Matthews will join Bolton Wanderers. Loan deal with a view of permanent signing in January. Deal will go through in next few days.

Wanderers had been linked with Birmingham City’s David Stockdale, but maybe his wages put Bolton off from signing him.
So who is Remi Matthews?
Well, the 24 year old has been with Norwich City his entire career. The goalkeeper has had several loan spells away, with Burton Albion, Doncaster Rovers, Hamilton & Plymouth Argyle.
Matthews spent last season with Plymouth, keeping ten clean sheets in twenty-seven games.
With just 69 career appearances, Matthews lacks the experience Sam Walker or David Stockdale has.
But, he’s only 24. Matthews is probably a cheap option for Wanderers & is a player with the potential to become a solid goalkeeper.
Matthews spent the majority of Norwich’s pre-season as the first choice goalkeeper, before the arrival of Tim Krul.
If the move happens, Matthews will sign on a loan deal with the view to making it permanent in January.
Wanderers are after four players before the end of the loan window.
Chuks Aneke, Cheikh M’Bengue and Jonathan Grounds all remain options to join.
