According to reports from Football Insider, Bolton Wanderers are interested in Derby County striker, Cameron Jerome. Unfortunately for Bolton, Leeds United are also interested.
The article states:
“Leeds United are working on a deal to sign Derby County striker Cameron Jerome as they look to beat Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers to his signature, Football Insider sources understands. Jerome, who joined Derby last January from Norwich, is understood to be available on loan after finding himself down the pecking order at Derby so far this season. Blackburn and Bolton are both keen to strengthen their squads before the loan window closes at the end of the month and they are actively monitoring Jerome’s situation.”
The 32 year old striker is certainly Parky’s kind of striker.
A proven Championship goalscorer throughout his career, Jerome would be a solid replacement for ALF.
That being said, Leeds’ interest means it’s unlikely Bolton will get him.
