Following on from Wednesday’s 1-0 win against Birmingham City, Bolton Wanderers end August with a game against Sheffield United at The UNIBOL.

The Blades have had a mixed start to the season, having won twice and lost twice. After starting with two defeats against Swansea City and Middlesbrough, Sheff United have won two in a row against QPR and Norwich City.

United travel to Bolton hoping to repeat their 1-0 victory from last season, something they haven’t managed in 120 years.

Wanderers have made their best start to a Championship season since 2000, and could end the month joint top of the league with another win.

It took Wanderers twenty game to claim three wins last season, they’ve managed that in just four this time around.

Team News

After playing in midweek, Phil Parkinson may once again make a few changes to the starting line-up. Sammy Ameobi certainly made an impact when he was introduced during the second half against Birmingham, so he may start ahead of Craig Noone. The same could be said for Yanic Wildschut & Will Buckley. Isn’t it great to have solid options out wide?

Josh Vela and new signing Joe Williams could come into the side for Gary O’Neil, who is suffering with a groin strain.

Meanwhile for The Blades, George Baldock, Paul Coutts and Kean Bryan will definitely miss out. Striker David McGoldrick and midfielder Mark Duffy should take part.

Odds

The Blades are the favourites with the bookies:

Bolton: 13/5

Draw: 23/10

Sheffield United: 21/20

Prediction

I’ll go with a draw. 1-1.
