According to a vague little snippet from todays The Sun, Josh Vela is being linked with a move away from Bolton Wanderers.
The snippet states:
“Josh Vela could be on his way from Bolton before the window shuts. The out of favour midfielder, 24, has one year left on his contract. And Trotters boss Phil Parkinson may decide to cash in now.”

Huge pinch of salt with a rumour like that.
Don’t think I’d class Vela as ‘out of favour’ to be quite honest, he’s started every game aside from the game against Birmingham City on Wednesday. Vela has also been handed the vice captaincy, and captained Wanderers in the Carabao Cup game against Leeds United.
One thing that has remained consistent during Josh Vela’s time at Wanderers is the fact that he is constantly being linked with a move away.
Whilst he is in the last year of his contract, I don’t think Wanderers will sell.
Besides, the club could really do with adding a striker before the deadline next week. Now is not the time to be selling first team players.
