Transfer rumours of players being linked to Bolton Wanderers have virtually been non existent this window, but a player hss been linked with a move away from the UNIBOL.
According to Sky Sports, Erhun Oztumer is wanted by League One pair Sunderland and Charlton.
An article on Sky’s website states:
“Charlton and Sunderland are interested in signing Bolton midfielder Erhun Oztumer, according to Sky sources. The 27-year-old joined Bolton from Walsall last summer on a free transfer after scoring 32 goals in 95 appearances for the Saddlers. Oztumer has seen first-team opportunities restricted with Wanderers and has featured only 15 times so far this season. Sky sources understand Charlton and Sunderland are both keen on securing a deal for Oztumer before the close of the transfer window.”
Plenty of Wanderers fans have called for Oztumer to be given more playing time.
Hopefully he gets a chance during tonight’s game against Bristol in the cup tonight.
If he isn’t, would Oz be swayed by the chance of a move away? Who knows. But if he isn’t going to play, maybe Bolton should cash in.
