According to The Daily Mail, Bolton Wanderers are interested in former Celtic & Hibernian centre back, Efe Ambrose.
The Mail state:
“Bolton Wanderers have made a move for ex-Hibernian defender Efe Ambrose. The 30-year-old is available on a free transfer after exercising a clause in his contract though he has been offered new terms at Hibs. The Scottish club recognise Ambrose was a key performer for them and want to keep him at the club after the departure of manager Neil Lennon by mutual consent. Bolton are hopeful of reaching agreement but Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Wigan Athletic have all made late enquiries.”
The 30 year old has spent the last seven years in Scotland, winning the SPL four times whilst at Celtic.
With 51 caps for Nigeria, Ambrose has bags of experience which he could bring to Bolton. Wanderers need a striker & that position should be the priority.
But I think Ambrose would be a decent addition. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
