One of the Premier League’s in form teams in keeping a close eye on one of Wanderers’ brightest prospects.
According to reports this morning in The Sun, Leicester City are interested in Ronan Darcy.
The report states:
”Foxes spies are tracking young Bolton attacker Ronan Darcy.
The home-grown 18-year-old was in the Wanderers side when they had to field the kids but has now gone back into the shadows.”
After making his debut at the end of last season, Darcy has made eight appearances this season, scoring once against Rochdale.
The youngster hasn’t appeared since Keith Hill’s first game in charge against Rotherham, falling behind the likes of Dennis Politic, Thibaud Verlinden & Ali Crawford in the pecking order.
Darcy impressed at the start of the season as part of the youngest Wanderers side ever & looks to have a bright future in the game.
If Leicester’s interest is genuine, at least Wanderers aren’t in the state where they have to sell their best prospects like in recent years.
