According to The Sun journalist Alan Nixon, Bolton Wanderers are reportedly eyeing a deal for former Derby and Malaga centre back, Raul Albentosa.

The 30 year old is a free agent after having his contract with Deportivo de La Coruña cancelled last month. Albentosa is no stranger to English football, having spent eighteen months with fellow Championship side Derby County.
In January 2015, The Rams spent £500,00 for him, but he only played nine times in six months before leaving for Malaga on loan the following season. Derby then sold Albentosa in 2016 for double what they paid for him.
If he does make the move, then let’s hope he adapts to English football better than what he did at Derby.
Whether this move is dependent on a potential transfer embargo remains to be seen.
