Ooh yeah

So our beloved Bolton Wanderers have just beaten play-off chasing Birmingham City 1-0 at St Andrews. No joke, we’ve won away from home for the first time since August. After the dreadful performance against Preston at the weekend, Parky again opted for the 3-5-2, but started with former Blues man Clayton Donaldson instead of Sammy Ameobi.

No doubt, tonight was Donaldson’s best game in a Bolton shirt.

Defensively solid against the in form pairing of Che Adams & former Bolton favourite Lukas Jutkiewicz, Wanderers were rewarded for their hard work with twenty minutes to go.

Luke Murphy’s fantastic free kick was headed into the net by the on loan Everton man Callum Connolly, who celebrated Ketsbaia style in front of the travelling Bolton fans.

Birmingham threatened & Remi Matthews had to make a smart save to deny Adams, but Bolton held firm to take home all three points and their first win of 2019.

It's the first time we've done the double over a team in nearly four years.

Only two points from safety, we’re not dead yet.

Up the shithousing Whites.

Safe travels to the fans who went.
