Immediate Reaction: Bolton Wanderers 0-4 Norwich City

Abysmal

So I’ve just sat through one of the worst ninety minutes I’ve ever seen at the UNIBOL & that’s not the first time I’ve thought that this season.

After Wanderers bounced back from last weeks horrendous game against Preston North End to beat Birmingham City 1-0, there was a small glimmer of optimism going into the game today.

That optimism was short lived, as Bolton Wanderers put in an absolutely woeful performance. Now don’t get me wrong, Norwich City are an absolutely fantastic side. They played some of the best football I’ve seen live this season.

Their counter attacking style was simply sublime & if not for several brilliant saves from Remi Matthews, the scoreline could have been far higher than it was.

Whilst getting a result against a side who are destined for the Premier League always looked unlikely, the performance was just abysmal.

Even the stadium announcer had a shocker, mistaking club legend Kevin Nolan for Kevin Davies.

Oh and the referee and the officials were dreadful. Once again.

Wanderers need to move on & quickly.
