Bolton Wanderers put in another poor performance to slump to yet another defeat.
After beginning an even first half as the better team Bolton did what they do best by going 1-0 down sortly before the break. Sheffield Wednesday then proceeded to dominate the second half with only limited interruption by a rudderless Bolton.
It didn’t take much to add a second which looked remarkably similar to their first. Two easy goals and the game well a truely beyond Bolton.
The one good Bolton effort came in the 93rd minute when Donaldson forced the visiting keeper into a smart save. It would have made no difference had it snuck in.
The club desperatly needs the take over to go through before the weekend in order to freshen things up. It is a key match against Wigan Athletic and one which simoly has to be won in order to close the gap. As things stands, Wanderers don’t look much like picking up another win.
