With their future still unclear, Wanderers return to league action

With all talk surrounding Bolton Wanderers fully focused on the potential new owners, you’d be forgiven for forgetting that there is a game of football happening today.

With one eye on Bolton’s impending return to court on Wednesday, the players travel to Loftus Road to take on Queens Park Rangers.

Last time out, Wanderers were completely humiliated by local rivals Wigan Athletic, losing 5-2 at the DW.

QPR have only won once in their last five games, whilst Wanderers have also only won in their last five games.

Wanderers haven't won at QPR since 2011.

It would take a devine miracle for Wanderers to stay in The Championship.

With talk of Laurence Bassini apparently edging closer to a takeover taking precedent, the result of this match pales in comparison.

Win, lose or draw, fans’ full attention will be on the outcome of our return to the high court.

I reckon it’ll be a draw today, but that really doesn’t matter.
