Our beloved Bolton Wanderers may be in the hands of administrators at the moment, but that somehow doesn’t stop the club from being linked with random players. God bless the Summer transfer window.
The first player linked is the former Leicester City defender, Alie Sesay.
According to HITC Sport, Wanderers are interested in free agent Sesay.
They state:
”Bolton Wanderers, Panathinaikos and AEK Athens are chasing former Leicester City defender Alie Sesay on a free transfer this summer, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Sesay is a free agent next month when his contract at Greek second division side AO Chania Kissamikos expires and a number of clubs are keen on securing his services.”
Starting at Arsenal as a youngster before moving to Leicester, Sesay is a player capable of playing across the back and in midfield.
He has also played five times for Sierra Leone.
Are Wanderers going to sign him? Probably not.
We’re far from being in a position to even think about transfer targets, let alone sign anyone.
