Harry Brockbank is certainly a man in demand.
The young Bolton Wanderers defender/midfielder has already been linked with a move to Championship side Brentford, now it’s two League One sides who are supposedly interested in him.
According to Alan Nixon of The Sun, Sunderland & Ipswich have made enquiries about Brockbank.
The little snippet in the paper states:
”Boss Jack Ross has also asked about Bolton’s Harry Brockbank, although Brentford & Ipswich lead the race for the defender.”
Comfortable playing at right back, centre back and defensive midfield, Brockbank looked impressive in his Wanderers debut against Aston Villa.
With the rebuild job now looking more impossible by the day, it would be a shame to lose a player like Brockbank who is capable of playing in multiple positions.
Hopefully, a new contract can be sorted as soon as the new owners are ready to take over.
