Trialists Craig Conway & Ben Pringle played as Bolton Wanderers lost narrowly to Saudi side Al-Ittihad 3-2 in a behind closed doors friendly at Lostock.
Out of contract David Wheater & Harry Brockbank were also present in a mostly first team Wanderers side.
The Saudi side took the lead through Serbian international Aleksandar Prijovic in the 13th minute.
Goals from Erhun Oztumer & Connor Hall in the 30th and 65th minute handed Bolton an unlikely lead, but Al-Ittihad hit back with two goals in the space of three minutes to win the game.

As always, pre-season results don’t matter.
A good run out for Wanderers’ first team players ahead of Friday’s friendly at Chester.
