Having been linked with moves to Manchester United & Everton in recent years, Turner left Wanderers at the end of last season without making an appearance for the first team. He did however appear on the bench on numerous occasions, so it’s a shame he never got to make his debut for Wanderers.
Turner spent the last two seasons on loan at several non-league sides, most recently Darlington.
Having been linked with a move North of the border to Kilmarnock at thr start of the month, a move to Newcastle could be on the cards.
The Toon already have several goalies on their books, so Turner would face stiff competition if he ever wants to force his way into first team contention.
Wherever Turner ends up, eveyone at LOV wishes him the best of luck with the rest of his career.
