However, as dreary as that intro may sound and one which I’m sure has really just sold this episode to you, things actually took us a huge upturn, massively by surprise, as you’ll find whilst listening to Ep.117 as the EFL statement regarding our opening game of the season was released as Will, Chris and Tom were recording this which effectively changed everything about this for the better, so bear with us during the first ten or fifteen minutes whilst we get all the depressing stuff out the way and then I’m sure you’ll want to stick with us when you realise the penny’s dropped!
