It’s transfer deadline day!

Normally for Bolton Wanderers fans that means watching other sides bolster their squads whilst we watch by the sidelines. But today is entirely different.

New manager Keith Hill & assistant David Flitcroft were brought in on Saturday night specifically to sign players who they want before 5pm today.

We know that several players have been training with Wanderers since July; Billy Clarke, Craig Conway, Ben Pringle & Will Buckley. Whether they still sign remains to be seen. Gary O’Neil has also been linked with a return.

Bury midfielder Stephen Dawson is a player Hill is familiar with & has been linked.

The most pressing matter is signing loan players. Anyone out of contract can be signed anytime, so you’d imagine every effort will be made to secure youngsters from Premier League or Championship sides before concentrating on free agents.

Will Wanderers sign the striker to score the important goals?

Will we sign any Peterborough players like Barry Fry implied?

Will we get a complete squad capable of competing at League One level?

We’ll know by the end of the day.

It’s definitely going to be very Manic Monday.

Keep checking back throughout the day on the site as we try to keep you up to date with all Wanderers related deals.
