What a day it has been!
Following his release from Nottingham Forest, Republic of Ireland striker Daryl Murphy has joined Bolton Wanderers on a deal until the end of the season.
The 36 year old striker has the goalscoring prowess and experience to lead Wanderers’ frontline as they face the huge task of remaining in League One this season.
✍️ A whopping NINE additions to Keith Hill's squad today!

Murphy’s is the final signing on a crazy day after the arrivals of eight other players. Loanees Thibaud Verlinden from Stoke City, Liam Bridcutt from Nottingham Forest & Jake Wright from Sheffield United were joined by free signings Ali Crawford, Chris O’Grady, Joe Bunney & Josh Emmanuel.
Keith Hill & David Flitcroft were brought in on Saturday night to assemble a team capable of competing in League One and they’ve absolutely smashed it.
FV, Hill, Flitcroft, Paul, Luke & everyone else working behind the scenes deserve a huge amount of praise for the work that’s gone into today.
Hopefully, there’ll be a couple more free agents on the way.
But what a day, what a lovely day.
