According to Football Insider, Bolton Wanderers are after another striker - the former Rangers forward, Joe Dodoo.
A report from Football Insider states:
”Bolton Wanderers have submitted a contract offer to Joe Dodoo after his Rangers contract was terminated this week, Football Insider understands.
Ibrox sources have told Football Insider that Dodoo agreed to leave Rangers ahead of his contract expiring next summer as he believes it will be easier to secure a new club as a free agent.”
Dodoo was linked with a loan move to Wanderers on deadline day.
The 24 year old began his career with Leicester City, playing once in the Premier League during the 15/16 season.
He was then brought to Bury on loan by our new assistant manager, David Flitcroft.
A permanent move North of the border to Rangers didn’t work out as planned & Dodoo has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Charlton Athletic & Blackpool.
Wanderers have three spaces left in their squad & if this rumour has truth to it, he would be a different option to the other new additions up front.
