So we just lost 5-1 to Lincoln City.

Bolton Wanderers have had a simly horrendous start to 2020, shipping eleven goals in three games.

Tonight was a step above from the two dreadful games we’ve seen so far this year. Without a natural left back in the side, Keith opted to throw Liam Edwards in there in the hope it worked. It didn’t.

Despite testing Lincoln’s Vickers early on, Wanderers were behind just seven minutes in.

The first Lincoln cross into the box was headed past Remi by Harry Anderson from six yards. Liam Edwards, clearly not comfortable out wide, lost Anderson and Lincoln had the lead.

Wanderers went into the break just one down & were given a huge dollop of false hope just two minutes into the second half.

Daryl Murphy’s knock down was smashed into the net by Ronan Darcy, who finally had his first league goal for the Whites.

Sadly, this was as good as it got.

Four goals in half an hour, all avoidable and down to silly lapses in concentration.

Heads dropped & Wanderers imploded.

Another game, another defeat.

The onions are burnt, the war is lost.

Wanderers edge ever closer to League Two.
