Following on from Tuesday nights last gasp winner against Cheltenham Town, Bolton Wanderers return home to face Tranmere Rovers alongside a familiar face - former manager Keith Hill.
The lover of onions took over as Tranmere manager in November & was in charge of Wanderers the last time the two sides met. Bolton ended up winning that game 2-0, thanks to goals from Dennis Politic and Chris O’Grady. The Bolton that Hill left is noticeably different to the one he returns to. The playing squad is almost entirely different and there has been one major change at the top of the club - the recent departure of former head of football operations Tobias Phoenix.
Team News
Arthur Gnahoua, Andrew Tutte and Peter Kioso are all unavailable due to injury, whilst Liam Gordon has re-joined former side Dagenham & Redbridge on an initial one month loan.
Tranmere currently have no injury concerns, so Keith Hill has plenty of options to choose from going into the game. Wanderers could face a few familiar faces - Kaiyne Woolery, Jay Spearing and Liam Feeney all joined Rovers in the Summer.
Odds
Bolton go into the game as slight favourites with the bookies at 5/4. A Tranmere win is 19/10 with a draw at 12/5.
