In one of the more bizarre transfer rumours we’ve heard for a while - given the timing of it, the fact he’s played every game this season & it’s a two division drop - Bolton Wanderers captain Antoni Sarcevic is apparently set to join National League side, Stockport County.
According to a report from Football Insider, which states:
“Stockport County have agreed to sign Bolton Wanderers midfielder Antoni Sarcevic, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The National League outfit are putting the finishing touches to the capture of the 29-year-old.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Sarcevic is set to sign for Stockport in a permanent deal.”

There is no transfer window for National League teams, so Sarcevic would be free to move now should the transfer happen.
Sarce has played 17 games this season, scoring three times.
Wanderers are set to face Stockport in the 1st round of the FA Cup on Sunday 7th November.
