So who is Joel Dixon?
Well, the 27 year old began his career with Sunderland, spending time on loan with several non-league sides before leaving permanently to join Barrow in 2015.
Dixon played all 46 games for Barrow last season, conceding 59 and keeping nine clean sheets as the side managed to stay in the football league.
Wanderers need a goalkeeper and Dixon has nearly 200 career appearances to his name. With a full season in league football under his belt, he could be a decent back up and provide adequate competition for Gilks, who has been a revelation since moving back into playing from coaching last season.
Dixon will be Wanderers’ fifth signing of the Summer, following the arrivals of Dapo Afolayan, George Johnston, Josh Sheehan and Declan John.
