Bolton Wanderers have completed their fifth signing of the Summer - with former Plymouth Argyle defender Will Aimson arriving on a free transfer.
The 27 year old centre back joins Wanderers on a two year deal.
Upon his arrival at the club, Aimson told the official site:
“I couldn’t be any happier that this is over the line. I’m buzzing to sign for a club like this with its stature in the game.
“You can go through your career and you might not get chance to sign for a club like Bolton Wanderers, so I had to take up the opportunity when it came.
“The manager, style of football and the fan base all played a big role in me coming here and I cannot wait to get going.”
Aimson played forty times for Argyle last season & joins George Johnston as the second centre back arrival this window.
Aimson returns to the North West, having previously had spells with Blackpool, Tranmere Rovers and Bury.
Predominantly a centre back, Aimson has also played defensive midfield on a handful of occasions.
Welcome Will!
