Bolton Wanderers have announced their second signing of the day & their seventh of the Summer - as former Coventry City striker Amadou Bakayoko has joined on a two year deal.
Earlier today, Wanderers announced the signing of former Barrow goalkeeper Joel Dixon and also announced that four scholars had signed pro deals - Ryan Colvin, Fin Lockett, Jay Fitzmartin and Luke Hutchinson.
Upon his arrival, Bakayoko told the official site:
“It’s a good feeling to be at this club and I’m very happy to have signed. Speaking to the gaffer, he told me about the ambition of the club and where they want to be at, and this is something that I want to be a part of.
”I am now looking to push on with this amazing club.”
You may recognise Amadou - as he scored for Coventry in a 2-1 win for them against Wanderers last year. He also scored a goal that was ruled out for offside in the famous 0-0 draw at the UNIBOL that featured the Bolton Babes.
Welcome Amadou!
