According to Alan Nixon on twitter, Bolton Wanderers & Fleetwood Town are interested in former Hull City left back, Max Clark.

Nicko tweeted earlier today:

“Fleetwood. Keen on left back Max Clark. Free agent after spell at Hull. Bolton also keen if John doesn’t sign.”

So from what he’s saying, Clark would only be a target should Declan John decide not to return to Wanderers.

So who is Max Clark?

Well, the 25 year old began his career with Hull City in 2006, making his way up through their academy system before making his debut at Aston Villa back at the start of the 2017/18 season. Clark played thirty times that year & then decided to leave to join Vitesse Arnhem, who paid £400,000 in compensation for him.

Clark played fifty-seven games in a two and a half year spell before coming back to England to rejoin Hull in January.

Hull were promoted to the Championship as league winners, though Clark failed to make an appearance & was released last month.
