According to Football Insider, Bolton Wanderers centre back Reiss Greenidge looks to be on his way out of the club. The Guyana international is set for a move to National League side, Barnet.
An article from FI states:
“Bolton Wanderers defender Reiss Greenidge is undergoing a medical at Barnet today, Football Insider can reveal.
A Bolton source has told Football Insider the National League club have agreed a season-long loan deal for the former West Brom man.
He has a year left to run on his Bolton Wanderers contract that he signed last summer after moving from Norweigan side Arendal.”
The former Arsenal & WBA academy player found his playing time limited last season, making just seven appearances. The change in formation mid season from a back three to four, coupled with the form of Ricardo Santos and Alex Baptiste ensured that Greenidge couldn’t break into the team.
The arrivals of George Johnston and Will Aimson this Summer have pushed Greenidge even further down the pecking order.
The 25 year old now looks set to play out the remainder of his contract at Barnet, who are now managed by former Australian international Harry Kewell.
